BAAHUBALI 2 Movie review :
In the two Indian epics Ramayana And Mahabharat the war is for heir to the kingdom and love to conquer the women (SITA or Draupathi). If you take historical Helen of Troy it is also for the lady love. Similarly Rajamouli is clever in coining a story of brothers fighting for lady love Devasena and becoming the heir to the Mahismathi Kingdom.
Rajamouli magnum opus Bahubali 2 is fullfilling the expectations of each and every Indian cinema fan. It is on par with most of the war movies in Hollywood.
First half :
It is really better part of the movie
The movie has a extraordinary Amarendar Bahubali intro scene.
Pre interval fight sequences is really magical especially bow and arrow synchronization scenes between prabhas and Anushka are visual treat.
The oruri Raja song visuals are really a visual wonder to watch on big screen.
The biggest plus is the interval block pattabhishekam scene where coordination in saluting the king by different types of army.
Second half :
Full of story and it answers y Katappa killed Bahubali. It is the secret which every audience was longing to know and every audience will predict correctly during the flow of the screen play.
Climax is lengthy and the transport of bahubali in to Fort using Palm trees protecting with a shield is extraordinary piece of imagination even Hollywood can't match it.
Performances.
Really Katappa is the hero of the film. Satyaraj gives his career best showing all types of Navarasam in the movie. He should get national award for the role of best supporting actor.
Anushka graceful dance, nice intro sequence
Ramya Krishnan and Nasser have nailed their role to perfection.
Beautiful cinematography, Mind blowing BGM, Splendid VFx.
Prabhas and Rana the two Macho man living the characters of Bahubali and Ballaladeva.
Atlast it is the master brain of Rajamouli in delivering splendid Indian movie and taking Indian cinema to to world class.
Minus
Bad VFx in Elephant sequence in the intro scene.
Lengthy climax one to one fight looking like a WWf game.
Rating 4.5/5
Final verdict : Spectacular visual magic by Rajamouli don't miss out
