Director Mohanraja is back after Thani ஒருவன் with a important social message similar in the lines of மாற்றான்.

Siva Karthikeyan emerges has a full fledged mass hero. He has terrifically improved his dancing skills but fails to impress in emotional scenes.

Farhad fasil has done a beautiful debut in Kollywood playing a stylish antagonist role similar to Arvindswami in Thanioruvan. But Fahad makes his presence felt in each and every frame and his characterisation is sketched well.

Nayanthara role is limited but Sneha has done her role very neatly.

There is a huge star cast in the movie each one plays there part well.

Music by Anirudh is class. Art director should be appreciated for erecting a beautiful kuppam set.

The are many logical minuses but still movie stands high because of the concept it speaks.

Dil Raju Production has once again given a good family entertainer.

Nani role is tailor made for him which he plays with utmost ease and steals the audience with his cute expressions especially in first half.

Sai Pallavi requires special mention for her killer dance moves especially in Evavandoi Nanigaru song. She and Nani share a sizzling romance and Chemistry.

Bhumika has Nani Vadina and Strict RTO officer blends well with her characterisation. Especially the first meeting of her with the antagonist and dialogue Jothi ante officilo respect undi compromise aithe bagundathu is awesome.

First half full of fun and second half full of thrill with a bit lengthy climax with fair ending. The movie keeps the audience engaged throughout.

Choreography and Visuals are splendid.

DSP has proved once again Rockstar with his peppy numbers.

First half of the story is simple which speaks the love and affection of brothers and sisters with few twists and turns. But the knot of the story is tightly woven by the director in the interval block one of the best in sasikumar movies.

Second half is comparatively interesting and Racy but falls flat in the climax of 90's.

Sasikumar has shouldered the movie throughout and he is well supported by Vidarth.

Pasupathy as antagonist has done a great job justifying his character.

Surprise package by poorna angry young lady requires a special mention.

The two heroines சனுஷா and mahima steals the show with their expressions.

The movie revolves around Bobby Simha partially honest and partially corrupt officer,  then Amala Paul an ordinary house wife with Facebook addiction and our antagonist Prasanna who comes has a womanizer trapping woman in Facebook.

Prasanna steals the show has an antagonist with criminal brain, his facial expressions his dialogue delivery கொஞ்சம் சிரிங்க பாஸ் is awesome.

Amala Paul fits perfectly in the role of a house wife caught in trap.

Bobby Simha is good as a partially corrupt officer but not as a romantic husband.

Few songs by vidyasagar is good.

Draggy and slow screenplay. Gains momentum in interval block but loses it again in second half.

Climax could have been better for this kind of cat and mouse thriller

One word about Karthi he just lived the life of Theeran. Realistic acting. He is well supported by Bose Venkat and Rahul Preet singh.

Ghibran music is the backbone of the movie.

To start with Atlee executed MGR formula film using Vijay in the lead. Atlee proved is was Assistant to ARM and Shankar by opening the movie in Ramana style and finishing in Anniyan style.

If you mix Ramana +Aboorva Sagotharagal + Neerum Neruppam (MGR ) = Mersal Story.

Story line is nothing new it is a usual revenge drama on the background of medical corruption.

Romantic thriller with a heavy social MSG to the younger generation which is the need of the hour.

Hats off to Vijay Sethupathi for selecting a bold movie in this genre at the peak of his career.

First 30 minutes moves very smoothly on the romantic episodes, the story takes a sudden U turn when one of vijay sethupathi friends commit suicide. From there onwards the guessing game starts for the audience. If you are a thriller fanatic definitely you can guess the story in the interval block. I guessed it right.

Though the run time is only 122 minutes the slowness in the screenplay tests the patience of the audience rather than making it a edge of the seat thriller.

Sethupathi and Gayathri duo have given their best. Especially sethupathi acting is sheer brilliance in the climax episodes.

Sam music and BGM is enjoyable in bits and pieces.

DOP is good in song sequences.

The movie also has a second line MSG to the parents have trust and faith on your kids especially girls.

Ram is at his best, Yuvan is too good in songs and extraordinary in BGM. Unfortunately we missed Muthu Kumar one of the best lyricist.

Andrea and the Debutant Vasanth have lived there characters, especially the interval block speaks about their acting skills.

Ram Screenplay, way of narration, unique style of promoting, powerful and gutsy dialogues  hats off to him.

The movie opens up with a intro of women antagonist Kajol. Her attitude, style, costume are excellent, admirable and applaudable.

The story is simple cat and mouse game between Kajol and Dhanush with less twists and turns. The characterization of Kajol reminds vijayashanthi from Mannan.

Dhanush steals the show as dialogue writer rather than script writer.

Simple but beautiful Dialogues.

One good eg is his father tells Dhanush the way you treat your wife shows the character of your mother to whom you are born. (simply awesome).

The dialogues in climax speaking about the equality, strength and weaknesses of men and women are really applaudable.

Though Sean has taken a challenging task he loses the race to Anirudh.

In VIP the core plot is showcasing the skill and talent of engineers by building a big construction project. In the sequel he deviates completely and showcases the unity, friendship of Engineering students.

Dhanush has dedicated a good song praising the mother in part 1 and he has given a beautiful song praising the supportive role of a wife in the sequel.

Arun Vaidyanathan gives a screenplay oriented intelligence thriller rather than action thriller which is expected in the 150th film.

To show Arjun has brilliant, intelligent, smart CBI officer Prasanna and Vara Lakshmi who come has subordinates to Arjun are shown has puzzle breakers rather than potential officers.

Prasanna cracks witty jokes, vara Lakshmi has done a role which suits her personality. To market the movie in kannada sruthi hariharan was roped in has Arjun wife who has done a pretty decent acting as a caring wife. The cute little girl who comes has Arjun daughter is lovely.
Vaibhav as brother has a vital role in the pre climax to crack mathematical puzzle.

The story is simple detective story of a serial killer who gives lot of clues to chase him down.

The movie can be called a sequel to malayalam movie memories (A) ஆறுவது சினம். The serial killer episodes are very similar. In malayalam due to alcohol addiction the hero has shivering and not able to shoot the killer when he sees him. Here the hero misses the killer due to Parkinson.

Arun Vaidyanathan gives a flash back episode similar to Aarushi murder case (Talvar hindi movie).

Action Arjun acting is excellent.

Special Applause to Arjun costume designer who has characterized him in a more handsome way.

The Speciality of the movie is the telengana slang. Especially when it comes from the own dubbing of sai pallavi it sounds sweet.

Opening scenes in the movie reminds the pellichoopulu scenes from Mani rathnam classic Roja and few scenes in first half reprises the magic of Hum Aapke hain Koun.

Sai Pallavi is too good in her reactions, bringing out various emotions at ease. Her dancing steps and hip moments are really a treat to watch.

Varun tej is good in his performance, but when it comes to emotional scenes Sai Pallavi wins.

Dil Raju banner has given a yet another good family entertainer.

The lady who acted has aunt to Sai Pallavi has done her supportive role to perfection. The little boy speaking American English is cuteness overloaded.

It is extraordinary movie in terms of performances.

Everyone is calling it a predictable thriller without twists and turns. First of all it is not a thriller movie it is a family revenge drama.

By seeing the trailer and promos it is pretty clear that a girl is physically abused by a gang and the step mom takes revenge when the justice fails. So the audience have a clear picture who are the culprits and Sridevi is going to take revenge. So no question of thriller concept arises here.

Musical magician ARR is the backbone and soul of the movie, the music travels throughout and carries each and every emotions in the Screen.

There are no words to describe the performance of Sridevi, she has given her career best which definitely deserves a national award.

Few scenes to describe her performance.

Scene 1. When the doctor narrates to her that your daughter is physically abused the way she expresses her emotions really awesome.

Scene 2: She is chasing one of the culprits by driving a car the anger shown on her face, when she wants to hit bike of the culprit but her car lands beaten by a lorry were she escapes narrowly. The fear shown on her face where each and every tissue in her face acts.

Scene 3. The climax scene were the girl calls her mom and her reaction is fantabulous.

Siddque, Akshay, Adnan, Pakistani actresses all have supported Sridevi to carry the movie on her shoulders.

DOP and Editing keeps the audience glued to their seats.

The Director and Screenplay writer should be applauded for giving the movie with adult content not even a scene with vulgarity making it watchable to the family audience.

RJ Balaji has done a good supportive role spilling the beans here and there about the current scenario of engineering students in a comical and educative way.

The though the story line is not new, recently we have scene movies like Kanithan and Yeidhavan speaking on the same lines. The treatment of screen play is fresh.

Rich production values by Dil Raju, Nice DOP but editing should have been much better. The length should have been cut short by minimum 10 minutes.

This is STR in combo with Adhik Ravichander and not with Gautam Menon, so audience should go to the theater with such a mind set.

First half.

STR as Madurey Michael steals the show with mass intro, dance and fight in first half. Shreya doesn't have much role to play. Comedy with YG. Mahendra is horrible. Magath and VTV Ganesh are okay but doesn't suit their characters to the fullest.

Second half.

STR transforms from Madurey Michael to Ashwin Thatha. The sadest part is the make up for the character is pathetic. The second part runs with trendy old man trying to woo Tamanna. What happens next follows the crux of the story for the first part of AAA. Trend song picturization and choreography is awesome.

The first part ends with a lead by introducing the third character Thikku siva.

So Part 2 is the happenings between Ashwin Thatha Vs Thikku Siva.

Part 2 : Story Predictions

1. Dubai Don episode in Baasha style.
2. Ashwin thatha will  make up like Thikku Siva and try to woo Tamanna
3. Kasturi will not be able to catch Ashwin thatha because of lack of evidence.
4. Shreya will join Madurey Michael (A) Ashwin thatha. Thikku siva will marry Tamanna and the movie will have a smooth ending.

Mottai Rajendran comedy with sarala works in parts.

The main hero of the Movie is Yuvan Shankar Raja excellent music and tremendous BGM.

If you watch the trailer before going to the movie then the audience will have clear picture about the storyline of the movie.

The tribal characterization of Jayam Ravi is a blend of MGR from Adimai Penn, Sivaji from Thangamalai Ragasiyam and Vikram from Pithamagan.

Big plus of the movie is cinematography by Tirru. He makes the audience glued to the seats picturization of songs and exotic locales of the forest.

Stunt choreography is awesome especially in Tarzan style of tree climbing.

Though the movie has a hero centric title, it is the debutant heroine sayesha who carries the movie equally on her shoulders and making the movie a heroine centric too.

So far I haven't seen a heroine getting a such a beautiful opening song like Damn Damn. Prabhudeva choreography is mind blowing. Sayesha making the song too hot with sizzling steps and floor movements. I am witnessing for the first time a heroine doing a floor movement equal to Prabhudeva.

Jayam Ravi is too good in the Tarzan characterization and his dance steps in azhagamma song is really cute. Pithamagan style of mannerisms should be avoided.

Harris 50th film musical is good and the tribal BGM is fantastic.

Prakash Raj, Varun and Thambi Ramaiah roles were pivotal.

Minus : The story is highly predictable and looking like watching Kadamban Part 2

Comedy is big let down

It is the autobiography of the Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar narrated by himself. This genre is almost unique and first of its kind in Indian cinema.

Many are comparing the movie with Dhoni - A untold story which is a Biopic.

Sachin movie is like walking through his life with real life characters, real life videos and narrated by the legend of world cricket who has tons and tons of records to his name which can never been broken.

Dhoni - A untold story which is a Biopic is like watching a match in the stadium which makes us walk through with reel life characters.

So no comparison should be made between the two movies.

The Director James should be applauded giving us such a wonderful autobiography in just 2 hours and 12 minutes. He made us walk through the life of Tendulkar and made us feel the various emotions he experienced in his life.

The music magician ARR gives us his best soothing BGM throughout the autobiopic.

If you are fan of cricket and Tendulkar don't miss it. Others do wait for the world premier in television in two months

The biggest plus is the interval block pattabhishekam scene where coordination in saluting the king by different types of army.

Second half :

Full of story and it answers y Katappa killed Bahubali. It is the secret which every audience was longing to know and every audience will predict correctly during the flow of the screen play.

Climax is lengthy and the transport of bahubali in to Fort using Palm trees protecting with a shield is extraordinary piece of imagination even Hollywood can't match it.

Story plot : Medical investigative thriller with a series of suicide by pregnant women who is behind it forms the plot of the movie.

Plus : Arun Vijay perfect for the role of asst commissioner with his macho body.

Good BGM and soothing melodies.

Stylish making of the film.

Cinematic liberty and pretty ordinary climax.

The motive of the villain is unclear whether money or child.

My personal opinion is now a days all the fertility clinics are doing artificial insemination with 100% transparency and ethical way. But the fertility doctors are shown as white collar criminals.

The medical representative and medical attendants are shown as villains. I am not able to digest this concept being a true pharmacy professional and having knowledge about medical fraternity.

The movie also preaches wrong MSG to the society that any lady can give birth to a child with characteristics which they like rather than belonging to the characteristics of the father, which is against Indian culture.

Only thing the audience has to decode from the thriller is the no 23 in the title. If you have basic /medical knowledge it is easy to decode

The movie ends up with a positive note supporting child adoption.

Though the movie is getting positive reviews around the corner as medical professional I am seeing only the false Msgs.

Director Arivazhagan totally lost its gripping track in the way he presented the movie Eeram.

Plot: Villain has learnt a technique from the bogan Siddhar palm leaf how to exchange souls (Body swapping). When the villain is caught for his crimes he swaps his soul with the police officer and what forms next is the crux of the story.

The Director lakshman should be applauded for delivering a simple story in a racy manner with the hit combo.

Special appreciation for both Jayam Ravi and Arvindsamy is that each one of them express beautiful body language after the body swapping scenes.

Imman music and BGM is good and excellent cinematography.

The climax is really worth with a twist.

Hansika and others perform their roles well.

Bharathan has given bike intro to Vijay in ATM and Cycle intro in Bairavaa may be next time it will be a walking intro. So far best intro of Vijay is mass intro from Sivakasi cutting open the shutter with a welding gun.

Keerthy is killing the audience with her expressions.

Costume designer should be applauded for showing Vijay in class look in soodana penne song.

Santhosh Narayan BGM is good rather than songs.

Jagapathi Babu has a played the role of a pretty ordinary villain without varying expressions.
