Velaikaran Movie review :

Velaikaran Movie review :

Director Mohanraja is back after Thani ஒருவன் with a important social message similar in the lines of மாற்றான்.

Siva Karthikeyan emerges has a full fledged mass hero. He has terrifically improved his dancing skills but fails to impress in emotional scenes.

Farhad fasil has done a beautiful debut in Kollywood playing a stylish antagonist role similar to Arvindswami in Thanioruvan. But Fahad makes his presence felt in each and every frame and his characterisation is sketched well.

Nayanthara role is limited but Sneha has done her role very neatly.

There is a huge star cast in the movie each one plays there part well.

Music by Anirudh is class. Art director should be appreciated for erecting a beautiful kuppam set.

The are many logical minuses but still movie stands high because of the concept it speaks.

Rating 3.25/5

Final verdict : Watch it definitely for the concept Velaikaran delivers.

MCA movie review

MCA movie review :

Dil Raju Production has once again given a good family entertainer.

Nani role is tailor made for him which he plays with utmost ease and steals the audience with his cute expressions especially in first half.

Sai Pallavi requires special mention for her killer dance moves especially in Evavandoi Nanigaru song. She and Nani share a sizzling romance and Chemistry.

Bhumika has Nani Vadina and Strict RTO officer blends well with her characterisation. Especially the first meeting of her with the antagonist and dialogue Jothi ante officilo respect undi compromise aithe bagundathu is awesome.

First half full of fun and second half full of thrill with a bit lengthy climax with fair ending. The movie keeps the audience engaged throughout.

Choreography and Visuals are splendid.

DSP has proved once again Rockstar with his peppy numbers.

Rating 3/5

Final verdict : MCA is a First Class Abbayi.

Maayavan Movie review :

Maayavan Movie review :

Sci fiction thriller from Director CV Kumar.

The movie deals with a new concept of science fiction which may become practical in future years to come. I am not going to reveal the concept which will play a spoil sport.

Sandeep Kishan has a angry young inspector has done a good job.

Lavanya has Psychiatrist is too good.

Daniel Balaji and Jackie Shroff equally done justice to their roles.

Art director should be applauded for settling a science lab in Hollywood style.

Nice Visuals with Average music.

Logic missing in Climax.

Rating 2.5 /5

Final verdict : Good attempt has Sci fiction thriller.

Richie movie review :

Richie movie review :
The movie speaks about betrayal in friendship.

The premam hero nivin pauly comeback to tamil cinema after Neram is definitely a Flopbuster.

The director Gautam Ramakrishan starts the movie with confusing non linear way of story telling. The first movie where the title character Richie played by Nivin appears for only four scenes before interval. Most of the movie focuses on Natty character.

Shraddha has a investigative journalist doesn't have much role to play.

Only savior is the BGM of the movie.

Thanks to director for finishing it in 1.50hrs

Rating 1.5/5

Final verdict. Audiences going restless before interval.

Richie will ditch you

Kodiveeran Movie review :

Kodiveeran Movie review :

A tale of three brothers and sisters in a village backdrop where the director muthaiah is strong.

First half of the story is simple which speaks the love and affection of brothers and sisters with few twists and turns. But the knot of the story is tightly woven by the director in the interval block one of the best in sasikumar movies.

Second half is comparatively interesting and Racy but falls flat in the climax of 90's.

Sasikumar has shouldered the movie throughout and he is well supported by Vidarth.

Pasupathy as antagonist has done a great job justifying his character.

Surprise package by poorna angry young lady requires a special mention.

The two heroines சனுஷா and mahima steals the show with their expressions.

The comedy episodes by Bala saravanan works in parts.

PLUS :

BEAUTIFUL dialogues
Interval block
Sasi and Pasupathy scenes
Music by Raghnandan is good.

Minus

Routine story line in a new screenplay

Rating 2.5 /5

Final verdict : Kodiveeran Kodi doesn't fly high. But it flies good enough for family audience.
